Bebo... we haven't given up on you.

We were introduced to Bebo Norman very early on in his career. Ten Thousand Days was/is a fantastic album... since then they have been not so great.

Bebo just released a Christmas cd "Christmas...from the Realms of Glory". It is worth checking out. Mostly because it is pretty hard to slip in a cheesy love song when it's a holiday disc. Looking for something to balance out your melancholy Sarah McLaughlin "Wintersong"? This ones for you.

Bebo, are you finally coming home?

we (I) have given up on Bebo. the music world is not like faith...there is no redemption for a sin so great as his last album. none.

i agree with teirney. except i caved and bought the christmas album. sorry, t. it's not horrible. which is a kind of compliment, i guess. i'll give it a few more listens.

...except teirney won't allow me to play christmas music, unless it's sufjan's "original" christmas music.

you are all sad. sad. can't you give some oldies but goodies a chance? (i.e. first call "evening in december", evie christmas "come on ring those bells", and jason's favorite - "rock power praise: vol II christmas hymns") the fiedlers give equal play time to ALL of the christmas music we've collected over the years and are all the better for it.

well said, amy! i know, evie christmas "come ring those bells" bring back so many great memories of my childhood (we had the record). doesn't feel like christmas to me without some of those songs...i might have to come over and spend christmas with you guys. ;-)

agreed. if leah wants to hear those songs, she might have to spend christmas with you guys.

ah yes, an evening in december - that's a classic all right. we also happen to have mariah carey, boyz II men, brian mcknight, and babyface christmas albums. classics, indeed.

i'm sorry, but calling the mariah carey and first call christmas albums "classic" is kind of like calling "purpose driven life" a literary classic.

teirney... we've got "mary did you know" on repeat just for you. we hope it will break off you're holiday funk.
